This fast-paced interactive workshop will allow short periods for you to apply the techniques hands-on. Participants will enter virtual breakout rooms to work through Excel examples together with David's assistance. David will be answering questions throughout the sessions.   • Summarizing data with PivotTables and Pivot Charts
  • Enabling analysis of larger data sets than Excel can usually accommodate with PowerPivot
  • Identifying duplicates in a list using Conditional Formatting
  • Displaying subsets of data dynamically by way of the FILTER worksheet function
  • Sorting lists of data dynamically from elsewhere in a spreadsheet with the SORT function
  • Removing duplicates from a list with the UNIQUE function
  • Automating analysis by using the Spilled Range Operator within Excel formulas
  • Exploring Excel’s Goal Seek feature, which can be used to solve for a single missing input
  • Learning the basics of Excel’s Solver feature

What You Will Learn:

You will learn to recognize which items can be added to a PivotTable by way of the PivotTable Fields task pane, state what the FILTER function returns if there are no records to be displayed, and identify the Conditional Formatting command that would color code cells with values within a given range of numbers.
